Art from Portia was born out of my love for art, freedom of expression and creativity. I have always appreciated art but in early 2024 I went and bought some acrylics and decided to give painting a go in my own way. It continues to be a freeing journey.

As an abstract artist based in Bristol, United Kingdom, I find joy in creating unique acrylic paintings that speak to or from the soul. Each piece is a reflection of my emotions and experiences, brought to life through vibrant colours and textures. 

Growing up in the English countryside, nature is a huge part of my life, forever centring me. Relationships and my epilepsy are other inspirations when I paint.

I continue to find it fascinating the different ways one piece of artwork can be interpreted - I love it!

My goal is that someone else also finds joy in my artwork.
